So often we are asked - what sex are my plants??

Accompanied by some blurry pics that show nothing of relevance.

The problem is that we need to get in close to see the preflowers, but the digi cam cannot bring objects that near to a focus.

We need a close up lens - a +2 or +3 dioptre convex lens. On my old Pentax SLR a close up lens screwed onto the main lens, but simple digi cams don´t have this facility.

However I have found that simply holding my +3 close up lens right up against the lens of my digi cam lets me get in real close and maintain a sharp focus.

Don´t happen to have a +2 or +3 lens lying around? Well you probably do - got any reading glasses about? - the cheap generic ones are actually the best. If you want to buy a pair for a couple of bucks or euros get those labelled +3.

Give it a try.

i dont know nothing about cameras except how to press the button to take the picture lol ,

sometimes my pics are blurry , ( well actually alot )

i use a camera phone ,

iv heard that i can put a magnifier glass in front of my camera

and it will take those good close up pics ,

is this true ?

are will it still be blurry if the camera aint no good ?

Camera phone?? Suppose that depends on quality, but my phone has a lens like a milk bottle.

I was just thinking to myself the other day, 'don't people look at there pics before uploading them?' LOL I can't believe some of the pics I see people post, would make you think weed makes you blind. lol

yeah you can use a magnifying glass with a camera..thats how I get trich shots

You could just use the macro feature of your camera also, it does the same thing. My 2 cheap ass digital cameras will get as close as 1 inch away and take crystal clear pics.
