About 75% is discharge water from the dehumidifier. The remainder is well water which is about 180-200ppm. R/O systems are extremely wasteful IMO.

"Wasteful?"
I recycle my rejection water from the unit to water my palm trees. It's as simple as not pointing my 1/4" tubing down the drain, and instead running it to an outdoor res which gravity drips onto various locations on my property with intravenous equipment that I poached from my place of occupation. Claiming RO( or RODI) is wasteful is sort of like saying alcohol causes drunk driving. Don't fault the unit, fault the human.

You are just one of how many reclaiming and using rejection water? Kudos to you for doing so. Even if it goes down the drain to a treatment plant to be recycled back into tap water, its just a burden the system. R/O is wasteful.

I live in SCOTLAND and am blessed with imo the best water in the WORLD ........so hearing about people having to recycle their water(RO)and the likes of .....makes me feel very lucky that I live in this WONDERFUL place.......
