You Are right about the heat but with my air flow set up i think heat is not a problem but we will see

Your going to need at least 1 ft of height for the hangers and the light hood and at least 20 inch's of space from the hood glass to the top of the plant canopy.....That's roughly going to be 3 ft.....you now have 4 ft of height for the plants, so abso-fucking-lutely a flip to flower plant height of 24 inch's MAX for Indica's.....I mean I could get really technical with strain heights and flowering...but a 20 inch max plant height at the flip will be your limit.....Strain dependent, you'll still be supercropping them to fit with some strains so for a safe max plant height at the flip - - 16 inch's until you understand what I'm talking about and why (strain dependent growth in height after the flip to bloom). I don't feel like explaining that in detail as I still feel you need to simply do some grows and figure out what your doing. When you do,,,,,you'll Know what I'm talking about here...
Your new and you want the best results possible right off the bat.....Nice idea, but not, unless your very lucky, won't happen....
To make things easy for you.....I suggest this for your best results.
2 gallon pots and flip the plants to flower at 12 inch's in height...
Use Dyna-Gro Foliage -Pro in soil, start to finish and don't let anyone talk you into a 2 or more part veg and separate bloom feed till you've done at least this grow run! Dyna is easy, simple and won't screw you on a mistake.....Feed mix, then straight water, then feed, then water....repeat this method,,,,,do NOT feed every watering!
Learn now, NO FLUSH!
For you, pH all ingoing to 6.5 and forget about soil pH!!! don't second think this...
The only thing I might consider adding,,,,would be Dyna Pro-Tekt. A silica supplement.....It will help with heat tolerance among other things.
If you follow these directions and go to a 1K light and run those 16 plants at once....You should get a 2lb+ return of dry product!
Heat in an attic will be an issue for you! Plan now on A.C. supplementation!

16 gallons of dirt under a 600 you think is gonna get 1 lb? I go by 50 gallons for each 1000 watt light, so in thia case being a 600 id say about 30 gallons. minimum is role with is 2 gallons per. Bigger roots bigger buds.

8oz each from 16 plants. You serious? Your gonna need about 8000 watts worth of light to pull that off. And a light bill for that is gonna hit you hard. Talking upwards of 1000 a month. Not to mention youll need a good 20k btu ac and duct fans to do this. And those lights will hit you for 250-500 each depending how nice you buy. And you will need to considering rewiring the whole room to 240v.

I'm trying To achive half a pound with 3 gallon smart fabric pot per plant with 600w lights not saying with only one light thats is all i have till i get another one if i have to

id almost say the rewiring is a must, and will cost you about 1200 if you know an electrician. thatll wire the box into your room and have it all on 240v. Running 50-60amps of electric is a lot.

Id suggest you scale down a bit. Try like 4 1000watters. 4 plants per light in 15 gallons vegged 3 months. You should be able to average 4 oz a plant if you do it right.

To maximize yield and light usage, under a single 600w light I would would grow 4 plants in a 16 square foot space so you would have 6000 lumens per square foot. I would also place them in 5+ gallon containers, top them twice and ScroG. I would expect 16-20 ounces of good bud when finished, plus a fair amount of sugar leaf to make concentrates.

rootbound plants have weaker stems and slower growth. Lowes and Home Depot sell 5 gallon buckets for 4 bucks each, drill a few holes and you're golden.

Dont use those buckets they are not light proof. Otherwise wrap them with panda film. Id expect a 3 gallon to pull 1-2 ounces respectively 16 under a 1000 watter. let me put it like this, most would assume 1gram per watt as a rule of thumb for when youve mastered your plant and room. With a single 1000watt, 3 weeks veg and this set up your shooting for .5-.7 as a new grower.

U can't get that it's impossible... not unachievable for you but actually impossible for anyone...If your really good you can at best get a little over a pound from each 600 watt light... doesn't matter how many plants you put under it or how tall they get...

Sure! No problem! 1 oz from a gallon pot is right on line.....Been done, years ago...600watt MH... It's called Sea Of Green numb nuts. Sometimes lux, you should sit on your hands so you can't type....

Why not? Because you can't? Strain dependent, he should average a 26" to 30" plant if grown right.....If you can't get 2 zips from a 28" plant. Your doing something wrong......OK, he may not be able to hit 2 lbs on his first run.....But if he's smart and learns....3rd run should be the charmer..
SOG, SOG, SOG.....He has no head room! He has no topping skills, etc, etc. A SOG grow to get off his feet is what he should do.
Dude, be patient, grow a few runs. Don't expect the world on the first try......Be real,,,,do some learning and keep your focus on the goal.....
