I have debilitating pain in my knees and hips which pretty much keeps me from sleeping as well, so I grow for my own medicine you could say. The optimal effect for me is something that can get me burnt enough to get my mind off it....turn me into hot fuuuuudge

to each their own but those buds def aren't ready, start flushing anytime though

Just looking at the hairs on that girl tells me it isnt ready for harvest. Perfect harvest time is actually when 85%+ of your hairs are a dark orange, not brown, not bright orange. I see about 10% of your hairs being orange. I would say you probably have 2 weeks to go.

I will keep everyone updated each week with pictures. I will give her one more week, then start flushing for 5 days then a 48 hour dark period then harvest. Thank you everyone, you are beyond helpful.

Flushing is not a myth. Ever smoke schwagg and get that burning feeling in the back of your throat? Thats weed that wasn't flushed, dried and cured properly. I have heard that if your growing organically theres no need to flush. But I always flush whether it be straight water or ''the final flush'' (made by grotek, good stuff. Your not hurting the plant by just feeding it water for the final two weeks you're just making the plant use up the remaining nutrients stored in it.

my favorite high was an old school Northern Lights from Nirvana that was pure indica (about 8 years ago) that was ripped up by evil people 2 weeks too early, i managed to save a few plants that were thrown into the weeds, the nugs were solid but all the trics were clear. what i did salvage was an incredible high, i liked it but when i revisided the strain recently from the same company i found the plant pheno had changed dramatically and was just not what i was looking for.
i have some pure indica northen lights going right now i have grown it about 6 years now its some killer smoke its gone as soon as its dry and sometimes before

This is 6 days later on this beautiful big band strand should I start flushing or continue giving it nutes?

So far from what I can tell the majority of the trichromes are slightly milky with 5 percent amber. I'm not quite looking for couch lock but a nice in between buzz, so is it time to flush for a week?

Thanks again forumn

This is my first grow ever, and im using fox farms Big Bloom \ Tiger Bloom \ Blackstrap Mollasses \ AN Big Bud
-=If anyone can recommend anything I could add to my nute lineup to make bigger buds in the future that would also be helpful=-

What I have been told is the tricnomes go from clear to white to brown - you can harvest from white-brown and depending on how many brown tricinomes there are you either get a less incapacitating high, the more brown the more of a couch high you get. Im on my first grow so I am splititng my plants into 2 harvests each. I am going to harvest the head nugget when its white/5% brown and the rest of the plant at like 20% brown. Gunna do that for both of my plants to determine for myself what the difference is between the two!

Good luck to ya they look beautiful

EDIT** Many people will argue that CDC's (more brown tricinomes) can/will ruin your crop if done wrong, they're right and wrong. From all the books I've read CDC's are actually the medical aspect of bud itself, THC is what gets you high. I'm not 18 trying to get high and impress my friends lol I have some serious medical issues and I personally am going to try both ways to see what works for me.
