shade leaves

This is first grow. I wasnt aware you shouldnt trim shade leaves. I have 12 as of yet unknown sex plants in 33rd day of 24 hr. light, indoor in dirt . On half of these plants I cut off one shade leaf per plant. Now that I know I shouldnt have done this, how much damage have I done.?They are 12-14 inches tall and seem to be doing very well. And when I flower do i kcick it straight to 12 and 12 or do i work it down to that?

you can go straight 12/12

she'll be right!!if the node has alredy turn into a lat.
go str8 to 12/12 if u want but sum people give them 24 hrs dark then go to 12/12.
