love u brother... that has got to be cheaper than the reflectix ill look into it. the roll of reflectix is about $130 for 4' by 100'. ill hit up the depot and check it out. im off to rocco tavern in L.A. my buddy has a gig out there tonight wish him luck!!!!..

I thought you just knew i was sorta cheap/frugal guy..

I;m the DIY greenhouse guy remember?lol......Styrofoam is super cheap......and it's already white...

JJ do you run a dehumidifier in that room?
I got one a few years back and will not go without one now. Save me from dealing with so many headaches.

No, I don't have the power for it, using all the circuits for lights. I use plenty of cross ventilation and a full time exhaust 24/7...humidity stays low.

Probably, I used 1" 4x8 sheet. You only need a few to cover a wall.

Im going to need 40 feet of material and 8ft high on the wall. so 320sq ft basically.. pricing it out. its really close cost wise

the 4x8 sheets is what i did see. yup.. thats the size/dimension i roughtly need.

lets see just for shits and giggles

I need roughly 11 sheets of styrofoam so lets get 13 just incase something happens or i needs some misc. smaller peices. 13x11.00 = 143.00 +tax.

reflectix. roll is 100'x4'. 131.00+tax

well see what happens i may do both i feel like a dick not taking your advice...lol but i know you wont take it personal. lol

how does the strofoam hold up to wear and tear?? anything you dont like about it? like better?

That Styrofoam has been on those walls for 15years....& you never had to re-paint cuz it's lready white. & I can remove it in minutes.....

it doesnt get messed up from brushing/leaning against it?? 15 yrs is longer than i been growing hahahaha!!! thats some veteran foam. the R-factor (insulation rating) is the same as reflectix too.
