after you have grown the plant in veggitive stage and you are ready to start flowering you change your light cycle to 12 hours on 12 hours off ....this causes the plant to start to flower ,this is when you will start to see either female or male flowers .theres loads of more detailed infomation on this site and others id do some homework if i was you m8.
