Critical +

Upper leaves - tips slightly up
1st (lowest) leaves - very tip brown
3rd set - slightly yellowing between green veins - tip and margins wilty and under
yellow goes from tip back towards stem

day 33, veg day 8
Superponics (Supercloset Trinity hydro & aero blend)
300 hps
18/6
RO ppm 18
77'
32%
5.5 ph
490 ppm
74.2 h2o

Just increased ppm from 280 to 490 last night after first ever foliar feed.

Foliar fed last night with 1/5th - 1/6th of Technaflora Vegetative State nute mix:
BC Boost
BC Grow
Thrive Alive B-1 Red
MagiCal
SugarDaddy
Aqua Shield
Sensizym
Rapid Start

Have been battling humidity. Can't consistently get it above 40% until lights out, then usually 47% highest. Still working on it.

I don't know how to post a pic and then write a caption under it. So I am just going to post each different plant so that the pics will be for that specific post info. Sorry for any repetition, but I'm leaving for 5 days on Sunday and really want to get this under control before I leave.

Thank you for any help or guidance. Much appreciated.

1st set of leaves wilty and curl under along margins - very tip curls up
Darker ashy or purple color only on a few margin tips on lower leaves, just a few

humidity needs to be around 60-70 during vegging. get a swamp cooler or blow fans at a tub of water. or get a humidifier.

Vanilla Kush x2
Both plants are nearly identical in symptoms
1st and 2nd sets of leaves - started with yellow spots 9 days ago, then margins started turning pale yellow and wilty. Now crispy and wilted.
3rd and 4th sets of leaves - yellowing between green veins - slight brown tip with wilt
petioles are purple (have been since sprouted, first grow, thought was strain, possibly something else?)
New growth margin tips slightly curl up.

I'm in a small space, not room for a swamp cooler. Have humidifier, still can't get humidity above 37% daytime, 47% nighttime. Working on a solution.

Aside from the humidity being low, any input about the condition of the plants?

it might also be a pH issue. go calibrate your ph meter and tell me how off your pH is

hey urgod: there is nothing wrong with your humidity keep in mind the actual range is 40 to 50% humidity but clearly you added to much nutes to jump from 280 up to 490 was too much of a jump...back it down to 330ppms then allow that to feed like this until you see your ppms go down on its own. IF it doesnt go down on its own that means EVEN 330 is to high...but never make drastic increases...specially with your plant.

I don't think 40-47% humidity if making your plants show def signs. I don't like what your feeding your plants. A jump from from 280 to 490 is fine. I go from clone (200ppm) to veg (800ppm) several times a year. No problems. I would keep it simple on your nutrients I don't like the gimmick brands. And did you say all your doing is foliar feeding? I assume thats a typo.

Thanks for the input. I've heard so many different things, my head is spinning, lol.

I went up because they just didn't seem to be getting what they needed. I used the nutes that came with the Trinity Supercloset, figured I would have a constant that other Trinity growers could relate to. Technaflora starter kit. My next grow will be with something simpler. Recommendations?

[SIZE=-1]The relative humidity of the air influences the functioning of the stomata, among other things. Cannabis flourishes the best with an RH of 60-70%. At higher RH percentages, the stomata have problems getting rid of excess water. At a lower RH, the stoma keep releasing water until the plant dries out. At that moment, the stomata close. Then, the intake of CO2 stagnates, and plant growth is impaired. During flowering you lower the RH to prevent bud mold.

PPM jumps dont matter that much... i had my plants on 1300PPM during peak flowering. I start flowering my plants at 900PPM. your CWP needs weekly calibration and it DOES go off.

this is how i run my nutes in a 8 week scenario
seedlings/ clones :0ppm
week 1 veg: 200
week 2: 400
week 3: 600
week 4: 800

week 1 flower: 900
week 2 flower: 1000
week 3 flower: 1100
week 4 flower: 1200
week 5 flower: 1100
week 6: 1000
week 7: 500
week 8: 0

I just got it up to 47% last night for the first time in 8 days since they moved to veg chamber. Sorry, forgot to add that info. Have a journal, so I forget where I wrote what. Until yesterday, the humidity was generally around 20% during the day, maybe 30% if I misted in there often. My heat was also in the 80s at that time, and the water temp was high. Now I ice bottle the rez every day and have a cool mist humidifier that helps cool it in there.

I foliar fed for the first time last night, hoping that it would positively effect my plants sooner. I had the rez at 280 before.

Technaflora Starter Kit came with the Trinity, just figured I'd use that to lessen variable. First grow.

Also, I had to add Aqua Shield, Sensizyme and Rapid Start, had brown slime prior to moving them into veg.

ugod: i actually was addressing Isis,
@303 your increase might be strain dependent...for you to go from 200 up to 800 I would have to ask how many weeks from seedling did you feed @ 200ppm and I would like to think u have a nutrient hungry plant if it did. But in Isis case it might be in ur best interest to step it up in increments. Isis keep in mind that the lower your EC is the more your seedlings will eat....but if you overload it with too much nutes you get a nutrient burn...and if you heavily feeding it nutes that can slow down your growth too. I looked at what nutrients they offer for you in your BC grow and yoru BC Boost....and they offer low amounts of Mn and zinc in Your case just those two products....you definitely need the bc boost because your Bc Grow doesnt offer you enough Nitrogen which they need "healthy" does off in this stage your in.But keep in mind not to over do it....and dont use the recommended dosage on the bottle cut it down in half.! then give yourself a ppm reading...and watch those leaves.

Isis, your root slime problem is easily resolved with some great white bioorganisms or subculture M. i had some root slime when my res is running at 74F, added some great white, two days later its all gone.

Thanks. The Aquashield. Sensizyme and Rapid Start did the trick when it occured. It had happened because I kept refilling the seed chamber rez back up to just under the net pots, even after the roots were down. So I created that problem with my noobness. Ironically enough, even though I was totally aware of the water level thing, I accidentally just did the same thing last night because I was adding ice bottles and at one point, just ice. I thought I had removed enough water to compensate for the ice and ice bottle displacement, but apparently it was a bit too close because I saw the beginning of slime again today.

My hydro guy just gave me fungicide spray, he thought that the yellow spots that began 9 days ago were rust. Spray didn't seem to do anything (yes, did it in the dark). He also gave me the following beneficial microbes, but I didn't want to put them in since I didn't think it was a fungus:
Xtreme Gardening - Azos Nitrogen fixing microbes
Xtreme Gardening - Mykos WP pure alive fresh soluble

What do you think of those products?

As far as your brown slime you'll need to look into making some heisenburg Compost tea . give this tread a 2 min read and see what u think, it could be just what you need as with everyone else link: https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka.htmlView attachment 1818408
it has some problems of its own but it would've been bigger if I didnt run into pythium or root rot type issues where I had to cut all the roots out.

Thanks. Heisenberg rocks!! I'm no longer having a brown slime issue, was just explaining why I was adding those last 3 nutes. Although, could be a problem again due to a mistake last night, but I'm fairly certain I stopped it before it could take off.

My EC is my ppm relation conversion thing, right? lol. Sorry, bear with me.
I started on low nutes, 130ppm about 2ish weeks ago, soon as I started having slime issues, I guess. I raised it weekly, as I thought I was supposed to. Basically doubled it each week or so.
So how do I know if they are taking in what is provided, the ppms go down right? But by how much daily? So, if in a week I did not see my ppms fluctuate more than 20, would that mean that my additional nutes aren't really doing anything?
I was so positive that their color indicated magnesium, nitrogen or calcium deficiency. Have had several symptoms that could be all one thing, or several different. Or, my other option was that lack of humidity was creating my wilt and making my other unidentified problem(s) worse.
