first three weeks i used 250w HPS with two T8 shop light fixtures that ran 24/7 for two weeks.
THEN: I switched over too my 400W HPS with the air cooled light to vent my garden because it was getting stuffy in there!
Now i just currently have the 400W HPS with the two t8 light fixtures thats now on a time schedule of 18/6
Hey all,
I am currently on week 5 of my grow. Let me tell you a little of what is going on here. I planted 11 seeds directly into 3 gallon pots(FFOF soil), at first my plants looked kinda burned in the beggining but they bloomed out nicely. I lost 3 of my plants because i seen mold on them and they werent doing well anyway. So now i have 8 in 3 gallon pots. Also, I smartened up after that and bought happy frog potting soil(something that has no nutrients and wont burn my plants), i also germed 5 remaining seeds i had into these cell plugs and then planted them into 4inch pots. So now i have 8 in three gallon pots that are about 5 weeks old and the other 5 that are in 4inch pots are almost three weeks old.
I havent fed my 4inch pots yet except some superthrive(which isnt a nutrient). Currently i am giving the ones in 3 gallon pots 1/2tsp veg formula(bontaincare pure blend pro), and a couple drops of superthrive per gallon of water.
I am concerned about mold in my garden because it was an issue in the past. I currently have a 6 inch duct fan venting this room out with the curtain costantly open and i have my dehumidifer(that works great) on 24/7 and also my osciallting fan thats on low speed thats of course runs 24/7 as well. I noticed my 3 plants in the beginning that seemed stress anyway get the mold, but i quickly disposed of the plants. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep mold away. Do you think my method is effecitve for now? Also, should my plants be spaced further apart? I also noticed this weird defiency ive never seen before on some of my leaves. sorta weird spots(you can see it in some of the pics if you look closely).
Right now, I'd have to say the one with the greatest looking genetics is the Sugar Black rose. Its just amazing how bushy and smelly that plant gets. I got lucky with some of the seeds i believe, they look really healthy and what not.
Tell what what u guys think and i'll keep going with this journal..........
