I use it to promote root growth in my clone dome and I'll use it again in my vegging res for the first week to establish the clone's roots in 6" rockwool cubes. Those are the only times I'll use it.

I too only use this, when and if I think the plant needs the extra boost.

Also, I only use it once.. during the veg cycle.

I've never used it during flowering.. and don't plan to do so either.

I've also never heard of anyone ever using ST during flowering.. and I'm not sure if it would have negative or positive effects on the plant.. while its flowering. So, until someone else tries it.. and shares the results.. on using ST on a flowering plant.. I won't use it during flowering. Not about to mess my plants up.. I got too much love for my babies to try that.. without knowing or having an idea of what the effects would be on the plant.

Anyhow, I can tell a slight difference in size... when I compare a plant that I've given ST to; versus a plant that hasn't gotten a dose of ST at all.

Leafs seem bigger.. and the main stem seems to be bigger and more robust. Just more healthy looking overall... that's about it.

But hey, that's nothing to sneeze at.

anyhow, that's my 2cents worth.. about using ST.

so yeah, IMO, Superthrive does work.

peace.

Superthrive's two ingredients are B1 and 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA). NAA is a rooting hormone that may cause crown suppression (top of the plant). B1 on it's own does not cause additional rooting and should not be needed by a healthy plant that has good soil or is fertilized properly. The use of phosphates should be limited when using ST for rooting.

ST can be used at a rate of 1/4 teaspoon once a week with or without fertilizers.

I have used Superthrive most of my waterings. I never thought there could possibly be hormonal effects. My parents have always used it once a week with no problems....

never saw any crown suppression, and ive been using it for years. plants get a mild dose about every 3 weeks.
only issues i have with it, is that it is too strong for seedlings.

DJ Short swears by the ol' SuperThrive... Uses it with every feeding.
Check out his book, "Cultivating Exceptional Cannabis"... He mentions it several times in there.

I use it lightly in veg, mainly when they're babies...
