Setting up a stealth attic grow op

Hello everyone at riu, I am back with a new house and am about to get started building my stealth attic op. I found a pretty big crawl space (not really crawl space but its in an attic) that is about 8 ft long 4.5-5ft high and about 2.5ft wide. I plan to put up make shift walls with doubled up really thick contractor trash bags. I had them on the closet doors of my last grow and they did wonderful. I think my biggest problem is going to be putting up the walls and making an entrance/exit. I know how to make everything fit wood wise and what not. But the walls are throwing me off right now. Its probably because I haven't really started setting up I just got some of the supplies to start. I also have to put an outlet in up there, I have found some power wires that go to some light fixtures that are never used and I'll just splice into those and set my outlet up right by my op. I am planning on running 12/12 from seed using a 400w HPS. I would really like to veg them for atleast two weeks but with only about 2.5-3ft of grow space left thats not going to be possible. There are a couple strains I will be doing for the first run, 2 fem Arjans Haze #1, 1 fem Great White Shark, and 1 fem Gigabud. I also have 5 reg thai x super skunk from G13 labs that I might just throw in the mix also. Only thing is with those is the chance of males. I'll just have to cut them down. I am going to either save the thai's for the next grow, or incorporate some of them in with this grow. Anyways stick around, I should be posting pics up as soon as I find this damn camera, moving sucks everything gets lost for atleast 2-3 weeks lol.

I can't promise it looking to pro man lol. This is only temp. will we move to a legal state. I'm only gonna be doing two or three runs and then shutting down. But I am glad to see that you are interested. It should be very fun.

killa, I'm looking forward to your journal... going attic myself.

I don't know all the strains you mentioned, but I take it all Indica for a lower grow?

Are you going soil or hydro?

naw lol they are all sativas 3 seeds are 100% and then 1 is 75% sativa 25% indica. I haven't ever smoked a true sativa so thats what I was going for. At the time I ordered the seeds I was at a different house (I didn't know I was going to be moving) and was using an hps and everything with no space issues. I am going to have to only veg for a week and then 12/12 from there.

GFK, good luck on the garden... I'm also going attic and available height concerns me.

Going with some sativa strains - are you concerned about them growing to high for your 5 foot height? I love sativas - got some nice Island Sweet Skunk and White Satin tonight and look forward to a vape.

I think I will have to frame in a room with a ceiling as our cedar shake roof will make it hot in the summer.

Can you tell me what light system you are using for the flowering room?

Thanks and thanks.

hope you dont live in an area where they do fly overs. Where I live about twice a month the County Sherriffs fly their helicopter over neighborhoods and the woods looking for heat signatures and plants outdoors.

ya naw one of the good things about living in the poorest county in america is we don't have a chopper anymore after 2008 they shut it down because we were spending I think like 3.5 mill a year to fuel that damn thing. About damn time I was sooooooooooo damn tired of hearing that thing flying over. And in my state they have to have a warrent to do fly overs so they would have been on to you for a long time so your already fucked lol.

i think your biggest problem is going to be watering it and flushing etc. unless your attic is a walk in and not a pull down ladder!!
