Hi folks this is my first post here so please bear with me. I have a room 10' by 8' by 8'. I plan on redoing this room and need some advice.

I plan on starting with one 600 MH for veg. (@18 plants) One 1000 HPS and may hap a light mover (same @ 18 plants) Both will be sealed and air cooled reflectors.

Lots of o2 flow, around 450 CFM intake, and 550 CFM exhaust to a large DIY carbon scrubber

One of my main concerns is the intake, I am planning on cutting a hole in the floor and intaking air from under the house. My concern is that under the house is almost always damp or full of standing water. There is some mold in the crawl space (under the house)

I have to 50 watt? breakers tied together for a " hot tub" 240 V I think?
I want to re route this line in the the new room and use it to power the room.

Please let me know what y'all think.
Thanks in advance

Everything sounds good except venting from under the house? If your going to and there's no other way then I would definately have a dh and I'd put some type of fine filter on the intake. Like that white fuzzy stuff that comes on the carbon filters. That will help keep the bugs out. I've also heard that sulfur burners help fight mold from building up. The good thing is that you already know what problems you can run into so now all you've got to do is fix em. Good Luck!

I dont know how to "Fix" the mold problem? A few months a year the space is full of H2O..... Pulling air from any where else is not an option, I could pull from the roof and exhaust in to the floor? This would mean pulling in hot air tho?

I have sprayed the mold down with a bleach solution in the past to try and "fix" the problem. It just always comes back...

Thanks again

Hi everyone.

The quickest way to fix the mold problem is with ozone. You can buy an "Ecoquest Fresh Air" air purifier with ozone generator on ebay used for about 300.00

I own one of these Ecoquest for about 4 years and they work great. I have used it on a home which got flooded after a pipe burst and was a mold bio-hazard. This machine after 6 hours killed all the mold and does so very well as its relesed into the air and gets all the nooks and crannies

Should I run it in the room or crawl space?

What about using duct work and just pulling through one of the foundation vents? How much noise would this cause?

I need it quiet out side the house.
Thanks again

I'm guessing your house (like mine) does not have central air for cooling/heating.

If you (like me) have a room that is air conditioned during the summer, can you run a vent from there or is it too far?

Mold is bad, very bad.

I like Bushido Boy's idea about the "Ecoquest Fresh Air" purifier.

If not for the plants then at least for you, and I think that would go inside the house.
