Hey all,

I have been flowering this serious seeds chronic for the last 8 weeks, went to 12/12 straight from clone. I am growing in the hempy form in 2L's under a 600w hps using Blue Planet Nutrients. While in the beginning it seemed I wasnt feeding enough nutes I adjusted and everything seemed to look well, but here I am now in week 8, which according to serious is when it should be harvested, but the buds look small and the plants are so leafy...will the swell up or if not; what did I do wrong?

Theyre small because they werent big when they went into flower. They also havent been topped or trained so they will just grow one main cola.

Some strains are just leafy. You'll trim all that stuff during manicuring so its really not a big deal. I dont think youre going to get much more of a swell but the plants could stand to mature a bit more.

Yeh I didn't top or train bc I wanted single colas, but it seems like all little popcorn buds when I'm used to single cola having nice chunky buds.

they have done real well for they have had to work with from amount of roots they probably have, think of it in them terms, more roots more growth, everything else look spot on from youre room to youre over health of youre plants, so next time find a way the suits you youre style, so youre available to provide more space for the plants roots, run the same strain with the xp you've got from the strain this time and more space you get way better results in terms of weight, well done thou so far thou, its all part of the fun/exp dialing youre op in

Anyone else?
If you flowered a rooted clone then its transition period from veg to flower could have taken almost 3weeks. If that's the case you're actually around week 5 of flowering.

Flowering times are only a guide.

Alot of factors go into flowering periods and how fast or slow a plant finishes.

If you had matured these plants and then switched you would probably be around week 7 now but with too much plant for your needs.

A young clone switched to 12/12 unfortunately can take quite some time to transition.
