78.6 at the moment but temperatures DO fluctuate when somebody showers the temps rise to around 90 degrees but the heat is retained n the cupboards and slowly dispersed, so a low of 78 sometimes rising high and slowly falling over time i think is the best way of explaining it. I know a lot of people hate the paper towel method but i love it :D

Sounds good man! Thanks so much...right now, my house is hotter than that! It's at a warm/hot 86F and it's 1 in the morning, with my A/C on full blast! haha...that's the tropics for ya! lol

HAHA u dont want to mate, i hadnt seen it til i was 11 i lived in South Africa most of my life its like the land of eternal flames heat and humidity. Was brilliant :D

Back to the growroom ....

I have been Doing my dry runs configuring my circulation and extraction fans to get the optimal temps. already i can see a dramatic improvement in temperature stability and hot air displacement :D

Moving forward feels good :D

We can Only hope my good man :D we can only hope .

Now heres the funny bit.... Turns out i've germed 5 seeds 2 different strains all of them had a baby tap root popping out of them at hour 37.

i have now moved them all into small peat cups and put them back in their warm ,dark cupboard. If my last grow was anything to go by i'll have them under lights tomorrow or the next day :D

russian rocket fuel is always a strain i want to purchse yet it's always out of stock.

a bit of advice: out of the best autos i've grown, i noticed that i used very little N or veg nutes. in my experience even Tiger Bloom (2,8,4) is too strong for a healthy auto. after getting tons of nute burns i removed anything with much N from my feeding regime, in fact, my best method is letting the plant take in all it can from the FFOF and i just add superthrive and micronutes, until it booms there after i begin a feeding schedule..

good luck, i'm subbed

You the man SensiStan! We should start to call you SenseiStan. Sensei means "teacher/master" in Japanese. :D

In SoCal temps range from hot in Summer to Cool in Winter. It's not uncommon for weird things to happen where we have a 100* day in January and a 50* day in Summer when the fog rolls in. Also with 10,000 ft mountains and desert within 60 miles from the ocean, you can wake up in the morning and catch some waves, run out to the desert to run off-road for the afternoon and then head up to the mountains to do night skiing/snowboarding. Now you know why their are 2 million people in LA!! This year has been unseasonably cool by about 10-15*F.

Yeah, SenseiStan!!! The good thing about this grow, is that you probably won't have to scrounge for anything else! haha...not really sure if it's a good thing, or a bad thing?
My godfather stays in LA, btw, always wanted to visit !

Thanks for dropping by guys :bigjoint:

I had to scrounge 3 pieces of wood and paint them white,so that was much easier than building a 3 ton cabinet :D

I got a lot of work done last night, installed my ventilation systems better than ever before. The best part of it is i have the fan unit suspended on strings so it doesent make the smallest whisper of a noise which is great :bigjoint:

More pics will be up tonight when i've finished work. With regard to the seed-babies , i checked on them thismorning to find 2 breaking their way through the dirt into the world :D tomorrow they will go under lights provided they have all broken the surface so they can shed there seed skins and get down to some good old fashioned photosynthesis :weed:

I must say i'm impressed with the germination rate of these seeds i thought they were all little half breeds but they are really champions :D

More fun later......

Hey man thanks for stopping by. it's stuff like this that i could never be aware of .

Odd that they dont like N in their early stages i thought any plant would require a kickstart. N plays a big part in clorophylls and cholorplasts which create energy for new growth in a plant. But i will be wary now that you have told me.

One thing that i like about my nutes is that they are organic and actually need to decompose a bit to release nitrogen,so if i start to notice any issues (and i will notice them very early) i can wash out any of the nutes and experiment with lower doses or just moving onto bloom nutes which also have adequate N

Making it rain will help regulate its N uptake, the watering method i use requires me to practically drown my plants with clean water every few days.

thanks for stopping by mate u've now put something on my "to monitor" list with my new auto babies. Now that i know i shouldent top them i think i'v got the main points :D
Thanks,

Hooray it is now day 2 since i first noticed baby cotyledon starting to show :D (which is what i consider Day 1 of a plants life, when photosynthesis begins properly )

What i notice from the get go is that these babies are going to be fast, they were practically born with their first set of serrated leaves which have grown more today. The stems are looking thicker than the average seedling. I think in a week they will have an amazing little root system going aswell :D

I have no nutes on the go quite yet but i'm hoping to start feeding them a 1/4 strength solution after their first week. These BioCanna nutes truly are so easy on the plant so i am experimenting to see how early i can introduce them. I will also be introducing a bloom booster this time round to max my crop :D

The frontrunner so far is the Snowryder, she sprouted first and is just my finest specimen so far in every aspect. So without further adieu ..... The Babies ! :weed:

Pics 1,4 and 7 are the Snowryder , The rest Are Russian Rocket Fuel :bigjoint:

No i've been "borrowing" various family members phones i think the cameras actually broken but i saw one in the shop the other day that i will be purchasing and it even has a rechargable battery like a camera made in this century, which is what i need really :bigjoint:

As always thanks for stopping by Daniels, i thought AF's would mix things up a bit this time round. And i'd love to see a refridgerator full of auto's at some point in the near future :weed: Perhaps a vertical lighting system with the inner walls plumbed for a hydro system ?

Screw it, if you dont i'm gonna do the above. i love stoned rambles i always get good ideas :D
