SensiStans "Balls to the Walls" 2011 Indoor Soil Grow!

Finally i managed to get all the new kit i needed to finish construction of the growroom, my schedule nearly fell to peices but with some good fortune i managed to get my seeds wet on 01/04/2011 as planned ! I Have some pics of the new growroom, its not 100% complete but its enough for me to get this new show on the road

And so after much cursing, F***ing and Blinding i finally managed to get SensiStans 2011 Grow Wardrobe up and running !

As much as i support CMH growers its a bit of a pain in the arse getting one here in the UK , i will pay the shipping one day and get one from the US but until then i am going to be using a SunMaster Bulb , these are dual spectrum hps bulbs that really do plants good, my previous 250w sunmaster performed well beyond my expectations so the 400 will be interesting. i ran my lights and ventilation yesterday to monitor temps , with the cooltube i cant even feel the 400w bulb from 3 inches away so i feel that was certainly a good investment

Last night at 24 hours i checked my seeds and one had cracked, i'm off to check them after this post. With my germination method normally i plant the seeds in dirt within the first 48 hours of wetting them , hopefully this will be the case this time . i will plant them in peat cups with a very light solution of Canna Rhizotonic . It wont be long til i have baby plants now ....

I may have neglected to mention i wet my seeds on the first of april, seeds were cracking by the 2nd and i have now planted them in BioBizz Light Mix Soil in some small peat cups . hopefully in the next day or 2 we will have some seed leaves for me to take pictures of

Hey Munkee good to see you about again And i will not let you down sir ! we're going to have marijuana mountains by end of July/early August
The 400 is SO MUCH brighter i am already amazed at its output and the inline fan and cooltubes efficiency is amazing aswell after a week of running this setup i am finally going to risk saying i have been successful

Here are some pics of day 11 since i first wet the seeds .



I am already looking at potential mothers here , in my personal view i say the middle one is going to develop best . the one on the left stretched for some reason while the other 2 didnt. the one on the far right just doesent look as vibrant and well established as the middle one , but only time will truly tell i have now fed them twice, first was just a dose of rhizotonic at about day 5, and the second was a half mixture of Canna Vega and a full dose of Rhizotonic at day 10 . due to the small peat cups i have watered with normal water several times between feedings . i am going to give them a bit more sprawling space this evening before i start teaching these bitches about the rain .... im sure most people will know what i mean but if not please ask

i like a good bit of sativa in with the indica, lightens the load but doesent diminish it although i'm still gna go with the middle one for the mother i think , looking forward to cloning and trying to cram a small veg cab into some small corner of the house lol

well it really doesn't matter as to the high or potency...all the phenos were exactly the same in potency and type of high...also oddly enough the sat pheno produced the most as well..taste and smell are nothing too outstanding...not bad or anything dont get me wrong but just not special...but where it matters...potency ...it is FUCKING AWESOME

Well all i can say is that i'm already well impressed with whats happened in the last 5 days growth and can confirm these baby LSD's already leave a smell on the fingers after handling now that these babies are starting to grow out i am agonising over which ones going to be mummy

Again i have 3 individuals and a family portrait :






3 days ago i accidentally made it rain ( i overwatered seedlings because i gave them bigger pots basically hehehe) they seems to be almost finished wicking off the water in their respective pots.i'm hoping this is going to turn out to be a good thing as from a young age i'm breaking them in - and i'm aware of how wrong that sounds ..... I'm going to sneak some nutes in just as theyre almost finished drinking and will hopefully be rewarded :bigjoint

The 400w seems to be performing above and beyond my expectations , not that i gave it much thought to be fair

mother the third one

We'll see , they all keep looking different every couple days . Every time i make my mind up one of them starts showing off for attention

I have been having some technical difficulties though . Last night my growroom tripped the power, i'm not quite sure how as yet. i have everything up and running again (in uk we have fuses on all plugs , im my case all new 13A fuses were installed on everything and extensions and adapters were changed over).
I did notice that the connection between the ballast and the lamp were slightly loose . I am praying this was the problem .
Now the 400w ballast i cannot touch it is so hot, i'm not sure how how theyre supposed to run as if im honest iv never payed any attention. the old 250w ballast was very hot aswell so i'm thinking its not the ballast....

Any suggestions would be great if anyone else has ever experienced this ?

As far as I know they shouldn't get too hot to hold your hand on for 5-10 seconds. Is it new? What brand and model? Can you aim a small fan on it?

Nah can touch it for about 5-10 seconds without a prob. i now have it on a concrete floor which is acting like a giant heatsink so we're actually better off than before .
I honestly think i knocked the connection between ballast and lamp and the failty connection was causing problems. ( which i think could have been a whole lot worse to be fair)
All is well now and things are back on track my next pic update will hopefully amaze !

Well another exciting week in my new grow cabinet as things really start taking off !
Heres a pic update , 4 days since my last update i think the growth has been exceedingly good and would like to hear any opinions if i could be pushing harder in any way ? i'm here to learn just like most

Tomorrow they recieve their first full dose of Canna Rhizotonic, Canna ZYM and Veg Nutes , soon as i find my data cable i'l be able to post a few more pics of better quality after the plants have had some time to soak up their food

Welcome to the fun not sure where u got jan from though!

Things seem to be plodding along just great, with the exception of my ducting which came loose yesterday nothing major to report, plants are looking good and im trying to get the lower branches into the more direct sunlight as those are what i plan on using for cloning, i have now made my final desicion and will be taking 6 clones off of the healthiest and biggest LSD female, the others will go to good homes i promise .... i have my day 24 pic update from seed :


i think the middle one out of the group photo is going to be the candidate for the mother,she just look so much healthier and happier than her sisters. as soon as i'm satisfied with the lower branch sizes i'll start cutting them off
