Looks pretty good. Im surprised the jacks aren't super resinous. The cannabible has a very nice picture of JH and the entry says if it doesnt look like the picture it wasnt the real deal. I got my beans from DR.Chronic. I have 3 little jackherer plants and possibly a 4th. One of them looks like the haze pheno. But shit, they might not be all that. I cant believe power kush is more resinous. Where did you say you got your seeds?

I got my seeds from Sensi Seeds -- the original breeder. The resin is starting to build up now...it's just that they are going so slow. Apparently, this is a 11+week strain. I am well prepared to wait 14+ weeks as well.

So far, they have all been in optimal conditions, other than the Kush, which had some nute problems...but temps/humidity are dialed in. Also have good airflow in there. Patience is the key...too bad I have very little :eyesmoke:

my first post.

love the sensi seed jack herer. my friend grew that a few years ago. he had a hazey pheno and it was amazing stuff.

you should of taken clones from the jack since its such an expensive seed:joint:

Room Temperature: 73 - 75 Degrees
Humidity: 61%
Day 49 Flower (7weeks).

Today marks their 7th week flowering. The buds on the Jack Herers are starting to bud up fast...finally!



The Powerkush has big buds and it looks like I have the Orange pheno...smells like oranges . She won't be ready for another 3 - 4 weeks as the trichomes are still clear/cloudy. I want a nice 50 - 75% amber on this one.

The Jacks all still have clear trichomes..with a very minimal amount of cloud. Maybe about 5 - 6 weeks or so left.

Powerkush seems to be healthy now after a long haul with difficiency/burn issues...she's very picky.

Jacks started to show some nutrient burn..but that is all corrected now as well. I still think the Powerkush is pickier than the Jacks.

All in all I kinda happy with this grow and LST...but I wont LST again because I miss how natural Cannabis plants look growing up.

Would you say the PK is outshining the jacks? That would be cool if you could post some more JH bud pics. Heres how mine are doing. Took these today. Guessing cuttings will be taken in 2-3 weeks. If these 3 are females it looks like one indica pheno and one haze pheno for sure. The other maby sativa. Hard to tell for now.

The PK is definitely outshining the jacks. They are more resinous and have huge buds. Its an Afghan x Skunk cross. I knew that the PK was going to outshine the Jacks early on because of how long its going to take to flower the jacks. The PK is very picky on nutrients, and the jacks are not. The jacks are starting to get trichomes all over. It looks like both the the jacks have a heavy haze influence which can be seen by the long/running buds.

WOW. They look very nice. But I assumed jack herer would be cream of the crop, highest quality cannabis around. I guess Im kinda dissappointed by the power kush kicking jacks ass. But those buds look like either haze or sativa, theyre gonna be long and lanky. Really the only way of knowing how good the weed is is after it cures in a jar for 4 weeks. You'll know by then.

Thanks for all the comments. The Jacks are starting to bud up fast and are getting full of trichomes...bout time! I will post pictures today or tomorrow.

It's been a long and busy month for me, thus the lack of updates...but here goes!

Room Temperature: 68 - 75 Degrees
Humidity: 60%
Day 59 Flower (8 weeks 3 Days).

I am giving them 1/4 nutrients and lowered the pH to around 6.3...they don't seem to like anything about 6.5 since the last few weeks. The Powerkush has an intense orange smell and its getting stronger and stronger. The Jacks have a very strong minty/menthol with a hint of gasoline smell...very unique!

Powerkush has rock hard buds, Jacks still are long and runny.

Lets start up with the Jacks:


She has about 15, yes 15 tops! She's gonna have a great yield.

The other jack has about 7 tops, but has a lot of resin and is filling out more:


They still have tons of clear trichomes, so the Jacks are gonna be a while before I harvest...

Now lets get on to the Powerkush:





I am harvesting her in about 3 weeks...so shes going to run 11 weeks...It should have about 50 - 75% amber. I want it to be a knockout stone...her use is going to be for treating pain/cramps/etc and insomnia.

loooking real good bro keep it up!! i jus had a question if u dont mind... if u find seeds in the weed u smoke are those guaranteed female seeds if i plant them do u think?

Powerkush has been harvested at 9 weeks...was going to wait a bit longer but then I saw the amount of amber that I wanted...



few days drying:



I will take a final shot once the bud is dry and goes into the jars for curing. I say I only got around 2 ounces (dry) or so...

The Jacks still have a few weeks left...here is a group shot:
