I carry my Grow Card (OMMP) and I always represent Kind smelly bud. I enjoy the attention and the freedom.
OMMP card does no good outside of Oregon, and damn sure won't help in Arizona. It's good to have it anyway though, I have mine laminated and on me at all times.

Oh but it does and so does all the rest of the states that have OMMP cards, well only in Montana. Montana recognizes all OMMP state cards. So if you are traveling with a pound or two and see red lights behind you, push on the gas and don't let up until you get into Montana.
Montana rocks for that reason, and Cali rocks for the no more limit law.

LOL Yeah it's hard to get over the mountain when you realize that you have to travel without ganja on the other side.

True, Montana is the exception in that regard. If only all states were so progressive....even if they don't have medical cannabis, perhaps they could respect the rights of the other states that do.

Man there's some bad advice in this thread... peanut butter, baby powder, etc... may work for your nose, but not the dog's.

FOODSAVER VACUUM-SEALED BAGS!!! Double bag that shit... wear gloves so nothing gets on the exterior. BAM! The dog can't smell it... at least not in a practical application! If the dog had all day to find it in a room.... maybe? Yeah, I know.... foodsaver bags are porous. But to what extent... I don't think it's that much. If it's maybe letting a few molecules out now and then, the dog can't smell a few molecules!!

And the people I know who've done this say USPS is the only way to go. USPS needs a WARRANT to open your mail/package! FedEx/DHL/UPS, etc. don't need shit. They can open your package for any reason at any time! That's why you always hear about the busts through FedEx/UPS... can't remember the last one I heard about USPS! So, for USPS to get into your package, they have to have a reason... if you know what you're doing you can eliminate any suspicion.

Another reason you want to use USPS is because of the sheer volume of mail that comes through there! I'm not sure of specifics, but it's at least tens of times more volume than any private courier. When they're moving that much shit... they don't have the time to inspect every package (especially if it looks just like any other).

Don't use a fake name for receiver. For sender it's OK. If marijuana showed up in a package at your door, you probably have a good chance of plausible deniability if you're smart and safe. How can they prove someone else didn't send it to you randomly and try to jack you?

I have two friends who would send back and forth to each other for years this way......

i didnt read the whole thread not sure if this has been mentioned......

go to a crafts store and get some candle wax.....
seal it up real good......
make some nice fresh homemade candles with it in the middle
dont think it would work if you were trying to send alot but prolly good for small amounts to friends and such

Bro, I don't think any of the advice given is necessarily "bad advice" we are simply offering ideas, just as you offered an "idea" regarding the Food Saver bags. I'm sure all of us think our ideas are good but untill we actually put them to the test we wont know will we?

This is 100% excellent advice. I have heard the same from postal workers.

Do not use UPS or FedEx!!!! They are NOT your friend! It is already a felony, using a private shipper does not change this...though undoubtedly additional charges would be incurred. I understand that the UPS overnight has worked before, but IMO you are playing with fire using these shippers...plus the USPS needs your business and is cheaper...send as a gift and the Ganja:leaf:Gods will protect the blessing!

Everyone's ideas are well meaning...but why risk it...follow above advice.

I would add this...for relatively smaller amounts...one could get a piece of clothing with large pockets from a thrift store...place items to be sent in the pocket for an extra level of deniability on receiving end.

And if anyone is worried about the dog...nothing will mask the scent, it needs to be sealed...I doubt dogs are used for domestic mail.

Tell someone who winds up in jail that it's not bad advice! Not trying to be a dick, but this is a serious risk and needs to be undertaken with the utmost security! Wouldn't want someone to pack an oz into a peanut butter jar and wind up in the slammer....

This is how it's done by the pros.... trust me. I know a guy in Oregon who's been doing this for years. A friend of mine picked up 2ozs a pkg every month for a year.... no problems.

This is still a risk obviously, but this is THE BEST WAY. Make it look like the other 1000s of priority envelopes that are going through that day... Send it via priority or express. They both keep moving so they won't be sitting around in a warehouse getting sniffed ;-)

I've heard that there may be more scrutiny on express. I've even heard of people using carbon paper to block x-rays... don't know if that works.

And the key for the receiver is to have no phone/internet/mail/anything records with contact to the shipping state at all.....

Good luck... thanks Hayduke!

Peace,
