Selling a used pipe; How!?

Hey everyone,

I have a nice little sherlock style bubbler head piece that, frankly, I'm just not using anymore. It's beautiful, and I'd rather have it in someone's hands who would be using it.

*Note*: I am not trying to sell it in this thread, only describe my problem!

I've phoned a few headshops (Ontario) and they all say, "sure, we'll look at it", but then ask, "it's new, right?". I can't lie and say yeah it is - it's in perfect condition, but a trace of smell lingers. From a liability standpoint, they won't consider it.

How the hell do I sell this thing?

Is it sketchy/illegal to sell it on Kijiji, or something?

Any advice welcome.

sell it to a close homie..it will save you alot of trouble in the end..and dont sell used para over the web its just a bad situation waiting to happen

Just sell it to one of your friends, or give it as a gift.

Aye, I guess you're right. I wasn't sure about selling used pieces over the net, but I can see the potential for trouble with that.

hah I don't know about you but I've bought shit over the net like that, just go by money order or something.

or maybe there's another site that works better for it.

If you clean it out with rubbing alcohol and sea salt a few times it should get rid of the smell. Also try putting it in boiling water.

^^^No, put it in a pot of cold water, then slowly bring it to a boil. If you just stick it in the hot water it will crack.

Fucked over my first glass pipe like that, I wanted to smoke then clean it with boiling water then smoke another bowl and see the taste difference. When I went outside it was like -20 since it was the middle of january, so the pipe was cold and my stoned ass throws it in boiling water. Huge crack down the bowl and a bunch of little spider web ones coming out of it.

Technically you could sell it on kijiji or craigslist since your in canada and a pipe would be legal, so long as you get the weed smell off it. But id just sell it to a friend, thats how my para collection kinda stays at the same amount.
