Selective Breeding Fun

I’ll be using this to document the long and arduous journey of my strain creation. Last summer after doing quite a bit of sampling of flower and terp sugar I came across a particular strain and decided to make a cross with another favorite strain of mine. Not only would the male compliment the flavor and effect but the plants growing style and structure would be improved upon as well and flower time should decrease.

6+ months later I’ve ran 2 cycles from my first cross while keeping my stud male alive and well in case of future use. I collected a lot of pollen during the summer and have it stored but felt compelled to maintain the original source.

Fast forward to Jan 2019 - the purple phenotype was selected and backcrossed for stability. I have these seeds I pulled from this harvest and I’m pretty excited to say the least.

The photo is from a lower branch I pollinated. Looking forward to sharing this fun process

Update I pulled more awesome beans while curing and define trimming.

I have to put these to the side or run them right now as I just popped some beans a couple weeks ago.

The two different seeds are from to separate phenos - one is the purple and the other the orangey pine aroma
