Hey Guys!
Right now I am currently growing Kosher Kush plants from Reserva Privada.
Ok, so here are my grow conditions:
I am using two PlatinumLED P450's
Humidity in my tent ranges anywhere from 58% to 62%
Ambient temp in tent ranges anywhere from 78 to 82
The soil medium I am using is 40% Roots Organic, 20% Happy Frog, 20% Light Warrior, 20% Perlite
My plants (#1 and #2) are both using this soil medium and are growing in Solo Cups
The plants are both 13 days old.
OK so here is where I am confused:
As you will see in the photos of #1, a few of the leaves are crinkled, no big deal, its 100% because of the lights, every plant I have grown has shown this) (For instance they say keep the light 41" away from seedlings....nope! Try 60")...I am truly convinced PlatinumLED makes insanely strong lights...almost to a fault.
Here's what I am concerned about...#1 is growing really good, fast, fat...looks like an indica should, except on my second stem, one leaf a digit is WAY smaller than the other. On the same plant, third node, one leaf has seven fingers, and the other has 5, possibly 6...so my question to you, RIU community, is, are these the early signs of a Herm?
On to #2, I call this plant Forrest Gump....its just not quite right:
Leaves crinkled as expected, again, PlatinumLED is no joke, if I ever get pale I might use it to tan. Its growing a tad bit slower, and the leaves are skinny like a Sativa...it looks like it went on the Ethiopian diet.
I understand that when it comes to growing, genetics are prime...but as far as the laws of nature goes, even two people with fantastic genes can produce offspring with dormant genes...so I am hoping people can share their insight and give me the good or bad news.
(PS. If you guys need me to doctor the images to better show what I am talking about, please ask and I gladly will! Thanks!)
the first three images show Plant #1...in the first image you can see me showing the weird, small, oddly shapen digit. In the second image you can see me comparing the two leafs on the third node, one clearly has seven digits, the other has 5 (Maybe 6, didnt tinker around too much). The third image is of the same plant, same node, just more close up.
The final two pictures are of Forrest Gump...Im not sure if you can see how skinny she is, but I promise you she is one skinny mofo...Maybe I'll call her Calista Flockhart.
So, if anyone could help me understand these oddities, I would really appreciate it! Let me know what I am doing right, doing wrong, any input, etc....I appreciate it all.
