Seeking help with correct harvest time

Thank in advance for any input. Here are my specifics;



First time grower
Unknown stains from bag seeds
Started with 6 plants but removed 4 males
Germination started on April 1
Veg stage 18 hours though May 31
12 hour Flower stage started June 1
Could use some help in determining best harvest time. Images below

Find out wot strain uv got then you'll b able to get an idea of how long till harvest.

You've got a ways to go. A month to month and a half just because it has some sativa traits.

Many factors determine how fast or when to harvest. Search and read some threads on trichrome color, and the many other threads asking "Is my plant finished" etc. You've got lots of time to learn what people look for.

Once again though, great job so far.

The only real way to tell is by the tricomes. If you find out the strain you have, the flowering time they label is just a guideline in my opinion. It will help you for when you should start to check the tricomes. Lookin good though BTW.

its all about the trics and what you expect from your mj. get yourself a little microscope and when the little white hairs start changing color monitor the trics on the buds, the tops normally mature faster so monitor the buds half way up the plant. its always trial and error to find which you like but if i want a head high i monitor the trics and when i see (on estimate) 10 amber to 90 milky/cloudy i chop, and if i am after a mega couch lock (to get me to sleep) i monitor and wait until i see roughly 80 amber trics to 20 clear/milky. if you for whatever reason can/will not get a microscope just wait untill 95% of hairs are orange/red, looking good though, but i did see purple leaf stems, are every leaf stem like this? does it spread onto the main stem? and do new leaves have the purple color straight away? it may just be the light or strain, but also could b a problem, let me know, furious..

Made one from an old pair of binoculars does the trick.
