Seedsman genetics very unhappy

One of my "feminized" seeds from Seedsman turned out not to be. thought I caught it in time and removed it. I was wrong.

Looks like all my girls got laid and now there are seeds everywhere...

Chop and start over or finish this and learn a lesson from bad genetics?

Always great when a 1st post is bashing shit

Leads us to dismiss all you say honestly
I'm sorry but I assume 1 out of 3 is bad genetics? I thought a male in a batch of "feminized" was pretty rare? I did some research and the consensus seems to be that getting a male in a batch of "femizied" seeds is rare and usually a result of bad genetics.

Is this not the case? I DO take responsibility for missing the male flower on one of them and letting it trash my space, but I assumed I was gonna get all females.

Just asking people's opinion. First response on a question I ask here gets trashed by some "WOOHOO420BOI"? Right back at ya, pal.

That sucks...I'd squawk to seedsman..Tell them the issue and that you want a replacement of a different strain..their customer service has been good to me

So here is the WHOLE story.

I popped 3 X Gelat.OG (seedsman feminized), 3 X AmnesiaFast (seedsman femizied) and 3 x Durban femized from Sensi. They were all healthy, nice, green. I was in love.

So I switched them to 12/12 and didn't notice the dickhead in the back (one of the Gelat's) until he was swinging dicks all over the place. I gave him the chop. I thought I caught him in time but now I am seeing seeds on all of the plants...

Super bummed.

How far along are they? Almost always worth taken them to completion. I'll second the comment that you're unlucky - I've been growing for a decade, never had a single male (just a few hermies to one degree or another). I've actually got my first strain on the go at the moment that's caused me to call dodgy genetics (an ultra leafy terperella from true canna that has no trichomes after 7 weeks 12/12).

I've been wanting to try an Gelato strain - it seems they are very hermie prone. More the strain than the company I'd say. Hermies are pretty common - a full male in a fem pack is almost unheard of.

Try to look at the bright side..You can still get some decent smokeable bud from these plants..AND..You have some decent IDENTIFIABLE crosses you can plant for next round without coughing up a bunch of money!

Great genes that I'm sure others will be interested in trading for..just be sure to inbox those requests. :)

Was the Gelato a full on male?

Or did it look female with some male sacks as well, Hermy

I had some Hermy from two Seedsman genetics, not nanners, but balls formed about 3 weeks into flower

Do you have any pics from before you killed it?

I sure don't. But it was most definitely a male and not a hermie. It is mostly my fault for missing it. I never trusted the whole "feminized" thing anyway. Should have stuck with my gut and went the old fashioned route but I got complacent.

It has nothing to do with "fems"..
You're growing fems..a stray seed popped in from somewhere else perhaps during packaging..

Femenization produces strictly fem seeds regardless of what others may tell you..some suggest "hermie" tendencies may be more prevalent, but I myself haven't noticed this..

cheers

So thanks for the responses. I think I am gonna just finish these up and be smoking some seedy weed for a few months while I wait for the next round to finish. Thanks for the feedback!
