Hello, my wife and I grew 5 strains this year out side from clones..two of one strain, can't remember which turned male. I've wanted to grow from seed for years, so I let them go. We have so many seeds now, but none will germinate. Do clones turned male and clone females make viable seeds?

Clones don’t turn male. They can turn hermie is stressed but usually. Females that hermie will contain seeds. As for your seeds where did they come from and how old are they? If they’re not stored properly they can go bad.

If you made clones from a plant that was male and another plant that was from female, they're exactly that a clone meaning it keeps its sex. If these clones matured and the male pollenated the female the seeds are viable for the next grow. If a Female hermies and self pollenates the seeds can sprout but they may also hermie. I soak seeds in a cup of distilled water for about 36 hours by then they have cracked so I place them in between a damp paper towel and place in a ziplock bag after 24-48 hours they'll have roots 1-3 inches long.

Are they mature? How are you trying to germinate them? They should pop by what you're describing.
Seeds from a hermed female will produce productive seeds. I grew some with good success but I dialed my area better too!

Seeds need to age a little to be viable, else they would go off in the fall and die in short order. Put them in your fridge for a month or two and try germing again.
