they will open in t he water but wont stary there forever without doing something different.
it would drown in just water because the water has no oxygen in it.
but you can grow in water if you use a hydro set up like dwc, or flood and drain

If your useing regular water it would be smart to leave the water in a cup for 24 hours before you put the seed in.

so should i put it in some soil or somethin cuz i dont wanna waste it ya know? but like just the root is in the water and theres some nutes in there juz a lil bit its covered with foil with a little hole in it so i could put the root trough the hole so the seed its self is not in the water but should i change to some soil or somethin?

you are not making a hydro setup, you are just drowning the poor thing. put it into a 8 oz dark colored cup of potting soil NOT MIRACLE GRO of any sort about first finger depth, 2" or so, sprout DOWN not up as you may think. this sprout is called a shooter root and travels down in search of water DO NOT USE A CLEAR CUP roots hate light. water it put a light as close as you can (place your hand between plant and light. if it's ok for you then it's ok for plant) get a fan to blow across leaves. this strengthens stem by replicating mother natures breezes. water it every 3-4 days, and leave it alone otherwise (do not overwater, a common mistake!) post pics, we'll do all we can to help you. welcome to the fold...:mrgreen:
