Seeds

Ok- so I was out of it for a bit and let a small male plant (Blackberry) near some in-flower auto/fast flowering (Sea Level) plants.

Since I'm kind of a learn from your mistakes kind of guy... Do I need to do anything different in the harvesting / curing of my bud to harvest and make use of the seeds?

Blackberry X Sea Level - Auto / faster Flowerer...?

I grow indoor CFL so the idea of a kick ass nice indoor plant would be nice, and I'll have decent supply of seeds for a while!!

Any suggestions to HELP would be great - Please don't bring up the obvious.
(I know, just chop the males asap)

Peace & puff puff

hellraizer SEEDS from autoplants are just as "good" as any other plant- please elaborate.

Blackberry(not auto) X Sea Level - Auto
would produce some seeds auto and some not with a large slew of genetics in the middle.
you would need to select what phenotypes from those seeds you would want.
google punnett squares.
with all that said i would not recommend to the OP trying to grow CFL if you want to be happy in the end.

Thanks Knowurhypehae - I'm really hoping to just make the most of it and perhaps get a few nice plants down the road.

to select the phenotypes that I'm looking for (faster flower - id rather be faster, stealthy, and high turnover - hence the cfls) I would think I would need to select the plants with such characteristics and re breed them? an not necessarily at the seed level.

I actually have 3 small Sea Level, SOG females, that will be harvested in about a week that Id say are about 80% seed!! (damn)

Do you know where I could find a list or chart of typical phenotypes and genetics attributes as I think I could likely find decent info on the Blackberry.

Sea Level Females - Indica/Ruderalis mix X Blackberry Male - Indica cross (1 hermie and two small males for about 1/2 a week)

I am thinking because I had multiple males and multiple females that the seeds would reflect the strongest genetics of each.

I have done a little more research on Sea Level. It looks more like a fast flowerer rather than a true auto flowering - has anyone every grown it? http://www.kindseed.com/proddetail.asp?prod=mm-seal

I could be wrong but seeds from a auto will not have auto genetics, but will grow as normal plants.
i thought he was wanting a bunch of auto seeds and thats why i said no good. If im rong I stand
