should i give up with seeds that have white spots after soaking a day?

dude they look fine, be patient. they will crack. you need to put a layer of paper towl over them. also, wait at least a week and a half before you give up on seeds, sometimes they take ages

yeh, but did you see the white spots? it looks like mold or fungi.

Its fine let them be, what I usually do is the moist paper towel method, like you have done. And I put a notebook or three ring binder on top of them(nothing too heavy like a book) to keep it dark and to keep the towel moist. This seems to work very well.

Occasionally, depending on how old the seeds are, I have seen it take almost a week before they crack. Just be patient they will be fine.
