If its bud rot cut that fucker down asap. Bud rot spreads and will destroy everything. If you cant control the humidity get it hanging as soon as you read this or youll lose everything. Itll be fine. Youll get some useable product. Just make sure you have fans running in the drying area to dry it out fast. Any affected areas must be removed. Check behind all buds at the branch to find mold.

I cut the whole branch off? It was brown, bout size of a 5c coin, on out side of the top bud, kinda fell away from the stem, which was brown and rotting. It looked like the google pics of bud rot. There was a wasp also hanging around, could it have lauded eggs?

You need to check behind all the buds for rot. If its there and spreading it doesnt take more than a few days to destroy the whole plant. And the longer you wait, the more plant you lose.
