Seeds in the weed

I just harvested a plant called "Riddler" a couple of weeks back... it's indica dominant and seemed very healthy. However, in an ounce or so of bud, I got about 4 or 5 mature looking seeds. Other strains around it are doing just fine with no signs of seeds. I didn't even notice the seeds until last night. Someone told me that the mother plant could have been a feminized seed. Does that make sense to anyone? Anyone else experienced a few mature-looking seeds in their harvest? Thanks ya'll..for any input.

Most likely it from a male flower you didn't see AKA a hemaprodite. It could have been a feminized seed but it culd have just as easily been a regular seed. More likely than not, your seeds would be females that ave a higher probabilty to herm on you like the parent.

most likely it simply hermied and grew a male flower or 2 and pollinated itself. personally i don't like hermie buds... they give me a headache if i smoke a lot, but it still beats not smoking lol
