Ok, so I have been wondering.

Is there a correct way to insert your cannabis seed into your growing media.

IE: can a seed be placed into the growing medium upside down?
Which side is up for the seed?
 
Yep, most people germinate their seed first, and then place it in their medium with the taproot pointing down, and with the shell flush with the medium.
