seedliong problem?

I have three seedlings that sprouted about three days ago. none of the seed casings have fallen off yet, and all three are 1 in. tall. but at the top, about a 1/4 quarter inch from the top they all are bent at a 90 degree angle. the bent part is now dark brown. Is this a problem?

you can gently remove the seed casing!i had to do that to a few of my seedlings!they'll be fine!

Thanks, i pulled them off and the green part is now visable, so i hope they grow steadily now.
