I have an experiement dwc plant just as you're growing. This is my very first grow. I'm using organic soil along with FF nutes and gen hydro nutes for the dwc. When I first started off, I didn't know wtf I was doing but after reading and getting guidance, my plant is thriving. You might be underwatering or overwatering....but I don't think that's either of your problem. That air pump you have in the pic.....how many outlets does it have? I'm using a 2 outlet walmart special airpump for just a 3 gal bucket, single site. I honestly think you aren't getting enough oxygen/bubble action to your plants. Even when my dwc plant was jacked up, it was still about 8 inches in 3 weeks....and bro it was pretty fucked up. If you don't have any root growth coming out the bottom of the rockwool, you need to have your water level in your res pretty high. Bubble action is what you're looking for when the plants are that young. I top fed mine about every 3 days and it was fine...sometimes 4 or 5 days. Once you see roots coming out of the net pots, you can then lower you water level. The roots will grow and reach for that water. I think you might of started nutes a little late as well. Give them a small dose of your grow nutes and see how they react. ALSO...if you're using Fox Farm soil nutes STOP. Some dude told me I could use them and that's what fucked my plant up. Get hydro nutes. Gen hydroponics is what I went with. Cheap and easy. That dwc plant is now almost 2 ft tall and is looking great. HOPEFULLY I didn't stress her out too much and she doesn't go hermie on me. She is a fem White Widow! :) Good luck bro and I hope my newbie experience helps you out in some way.
Word, I hear ya but your saying to fill the reservoir up even though there are no roots in the water? I was under the impression that the water in the reservoir and bubbles was only helping when the roots were in the water.

Thats exactly the problem if the plant still needs the water under it without any roots being in it.

Does anyone else agree I need a full resevoir for this thing to work even though there arent any roots in the water?

you do need your res full it will help

This high water levels allow the bubbles from your air pump to splash up and get the bottom of the net pot wet/moist. If you're only using a airpump with one or even two outlets for that res, you need a bigger air pump to create more bubble action. I had a 6 site res about the size of yours and realized the air pump I was using wasn't powerful enough to create the bubble action . I did a trial run before I even put plants into it. The more bubbles the better. I have a dual head air pump right now with a t off each line...so a total of 4 air stones in my 3 gal bucket and its perfect. When I say you need a high water level, I mean you want your water about 2-3 inches below the bottom of your net pots. When you see root growth you can then drop the water level in the res. Go look through the DWC forum under Hydroponics. There are alot of DWC growers in there that have much more experience than I do that can steer you in the right direction. That's where I went to find out alot of my info.

Cool Cool, well about the air pump, I got it with the "stealth hydro Kit" I bought. It did fine last time but i'll look into getting a bigger one. I've already got two air stones at the bottom but i'll pick another one of those up too.

With that said, i've been reading all the roseman posts about DWC and see how much bigger these things are supposed to be by now. It's basically not worth the time to see if their going to recover. I'm going to chalk it up to me not doing the nutes when the first two "leaves" pop out and me not putting the feeder tubes in the rocks immeadiately. I was top feeding the whole time w/o nutes. LOL sounds funny but thats what I was doing so....

I am ordering new seeds this weekend and will post with problems or not... appreciate the help

P.s
thinking about using sensi seeds, are they good and if not, who should I order from?

I personally ordered mine from http://www.female-seeds-online.com. But I'm not too sure about that site. I'm still looking for a cheap site to order from that has a good rep. And that stealth hydro kit you ordered probably came with some cheap ass air pump. Look under Gen Marijuana Growing. There's a Best Deals thread in there and in that thread someone posted a link to a 6 headed air pump for about $35 that would last a lifetime and would give you more than enough bubble action.
