Seedlings under 400w

Yes I have some jock horror seeds and I germed for 24 hr and then planted in rock wool. I was wondering if I should have the 400w mh on them before they even sprout or if it might be to intense

u dont need light until they sprout
when they do,u can use cfl's or the hid but keep the hid about 2 - 2 1/2ft away

yeah if u have a smaller light i would use it for the seedling stage it will save on the power bill. but if not just keep the mh a nice distance away like moash said.
