Seedlings top soil drying up hours after spraying.

Sprayed my seedlings top soil with water and about 6 hours later it's dry again. Should I water them again? I don't want to stunt them or cause nutrient problems. They're in solo cups filled with fox farm ocean forest. They are 8 days old.

How big are they? Them being 8 days old I’m guessing it’s only just grew it’s first true set of leaves. Give them about a shot glass amount of water.

About that big but the soil is way dryer. I already ended up soaking the medium before reading your comment. I'll let it dry out again before watering. I turned up the humidity range from 60-70 to 65-75. My temperature range has been 82-72 since germination. I usually give them a shot glass but it's always dry the next day. Is it okay to watering once a day?

The plant will let you know, but it should be fine. When it gets bigger it will drink more often in the cup.

spray doesnt go deep enough in the container usually its better to just water properly and wait for the medium to get dry again.
Agree. I don't plant that small (I start in .75g containers) but I water the soil until it comes out the bottom of the container then don't do it again until the medium is visibly dry but also light again. Spraying is like putting a couple tablespoons on top.
