Seedlings growing super slow

I just setup a 4x8 in a roughly 13x13 room I built. Framed like a normal room, mold resistant drywall walls. There are no hvac supplies or returns, so I made this little vent/fan combo for fresh air supply.

The 13x13 room is inside of a good size basement, which does have 1 hvac supply for the whole basement so it’s not much.

The supply fan is running at around 115 CFM all day long, is this enough fresh air? I’ll include a pic..

Seedlings are 2 weeks old today, and I feel they’re growing extremely slow. Seeds were sprouted in root riots, and then transplanted into Solo cups after a few days. Cups are filled 60% light warrior, 40% lush at the bottom. Watering with purified water between 6.1-6.5.

As for my tent, I’ll include pics of my fans and my HLG 300 Bspec (dimmed to 40%) . Temps are between 75-80 snd humidity between 55-70%.

Feelings mean nothing
You have to build a house brick by brick
You want fast vegetative growth go hydro otherwise grow for the long haul not video plants

Let me rephrase, based off prior experience growing the same genetics, these seedlings are in fact growing slower than what I’m used to. Slow enough that I’ve tried multiple things like adding fresh air, adjusting temps and humidity, changing light out, all to have no noticeable change. Which brings me here.

I have grown dank that was slow as molasses’s
I have grown smelly indica that grew like a weed but zero frost

I have also had completely different results later from the same seed packs
The only sure way to get repeating results is clone

You might have better luck if you just planted the seeds directly in the soil, instead of in the Root Riots first. Is that the way you normally do it?

You have an exhaust fan too right?

actually this is the first time I’ve used them, wanted to see if I could sprout faster than the paper towel/solo cup method but there was no increase in speed.

I just put this fan up to act as an exhaust until I install my filter/in-line fan. It’s the top right corner of the pic I’ll post, and then the bottom vent is where the heater is pulling in air from the 13x13 room.

I don't use a paper towel either. I just pop the seeds in soil from the start. I've heard coffee filters are better than paper towels if you want to go that route.

Everything you mention seems to be good to go. Bare in mind, even though you might have the same genetics or strain, the phenotype might well be very different. I've had seeds from the same place but purchased a couple months later and the end result was different (foxtailing, appearance, etc.). Just something to be aware of.

Also, watch that humidity later on. At this stage it is fine but come pre flower to flower you may find mildew and other issues over 55%. At least that is what I see in Oregon growing indoors.

I saw some mention about germinating from some people and my $.02 I throw seeds in a solo cup with plain tap water for 24 hours, if it sinks it is viable, if not I toss it. After that I do put them in damp paper towel for one more viability test and within 48 hours there is usually a Hypocotyl (tail if you will) at which time it goes to a solo cup with whatever medium I happen to have. They don't use any nutrients at this point since they get it from the Cotyledon (little leaves) for a while.

Peace

Yea I get seeds are like children your not gonna get the same thing seed to seed, I’m just paranoid about my environment because I went from a 32”x32”x32” micro box to a 4’x8’. I’m not used to managing all the space let alone a whole room environment to maintain for the tent. Thanks for your input!

Gotchya. Ya your setup is actually real nice. Send pics once you have the inline, filter and fans setup. Love to see it.
