seedling with droopy leaves

Hey all, ive comme here to ask about my seedling, im worried and i hope someone can help me figure out whats going on.

ok so about 1+ week ago i started germinating my seed with cup of water + wet paper towel method, a root popped out after a few days then i planted in plain potting soil with perlite and few other things in it at local shop. I planted it about 1 inch down into the soil ( i know its way too deep but its my first seedling so shit happens learn from my mistakes) anyways after i planted seed i misted the soil with plain tap water and put under the light... i am using Cfl 250 watts its a cold light for veg stage its about 4-5 feet away from the pot, after a few days the seedling popped out of the soil grew quite fast in height, but after a few days the seedlings leafs dont seem to be changing and they are droopy.. now this is my first time growing so dont judge but what i have been doing is misting the top of the soil twice a day, my pot is quite small but kinda big for the size of the seedling, its been under the light 24 hours a day, just bought a timer and about to make it 18/6... but each time i look at the poor thing kinda brings my hopes down if you could let me know what you think would be really appreciated, temp can go between 72-80 F and humidity from 20% to 40%, i will post a picture so you can check it out.. BTW it is a white widow seedling (feminized) cost quite a bit so would like to try to save it :/

a cfl light should be closer, like a foot or so. don't mist the soil. water it to saturation, let let it dry out quite a bit before you water again. as it gets older consider giving it a small amount of nutrients, but this depends on your soil. if there is no nutrients in the soil, you'll have to add them yourself.

i was afraid it would get too much light if i move it closer but my cfl doesnt give up much heat so what im wondering is can a seedling get TOO much light even if the temperature is ok, and my soil is a plain potting mix with basic stuff like perlite, peat moss ect,, ive already bought my nutrients bought fox farm 3 bottle combo for veg, flower and overall growth, when you say dont mist water it to saturation do you mean giving it water until water leaks out from bottom?

you don't really need to water now until it runs out the bottom cuz the plant is so small. but don't just mist the top. the soil below the surface must get wet. don't go crazy with those ferts. what soil are you using?

plain potting mix, ingredients: canadian sphagnum peat moss, horticultural perlite, dolomitic limestone, calcitic limestone. all it says on bag is potting mix, ideal for all plants indoor and outdoor great for transplanting the brand name is Lambert

Looks like you'll have to add some nutrients since they don't appear to be in the soil. Go easy, not too often, meaning you won't have to do it every time you water. adding ferts to soil like this is kind of difficult in that people want to feed every time they water, or every other time they water, and it tends to be too much. You'll have to decide what to do.

I don't know what your looking at but your plant looks fine to me. Great color of green and those first two leaves will do that and they will eventually brown and come off. Good luck.
