Seedling topped itself???

Update
It appears to be starting new growth and branching out by itself. Still might be a little early but it looks this way. Fingers crossed that it will continue to branch itself out.

Hello RIU,

I have a 3 week old seedling that went through a period of little to no growth for about a week. Once it snapped out of it and started growing I noticed this.
Is this normal? Nine of my sprouts ever had 2 tops.
Thanks for looking!

Same thing happened to me pics F ing crazy man

Surely this seed is not genetically modified. I got about 20/30 seeds from my boss who bred and fem'd his plants.
I did have a seed that appeared to be 2 seeds(looked like bacteria or cells 1/2way splitting lol) and I planted it, but I'm honestly not sure if this would be it. And even if this was it, would it grow like this?
Don't top it! Let it grow out and see what it does.

I miss the cute seedling stage but now its time to move on and continue. Looks like I have 3 dominate tops. Question is should I top her? I haven't topped her only very little lst.should I top now or wait or not top at all.

Thx

id start training those branches and then top one or both the sides and let the center main go i generally mainline for anywhere from 8 - 16 tops depending on what im going for but if your ok with three mains then by all means let it be and see what ya get

Is there a good mainline thread? It sounds interesting but I have no idea what to do. And by training you mean tie them down?

I have a similar thing going on. Though I didn't notice it until after I topped it myself. So I'm not sure if it would happen without the little but of stress topping caused. Either way it definitely favorable. Basically two nodes have appeared and produced shoots from where there was just branch before. Not at an internode,no accompanying fan leave. And on the opposite branch( which are the two main stems from original topping) there is an entire branches with its on funky internodes going on,once again just growing from a bare spot. I live cannabis mutations. This is perfect for a scorg.jopefully it keeps doing it throughout veg.

The Animal Cookies bag seeds I popped had one that did that, M10. None of the kids from #10 have done this, but one from M5 did. I'll post a pic of it later this evening (if I remember).

M5-10 are Animal CookiesxBubba.

I had a northern light x big bud auto freebie do that 5 years ago. It sat with 1 leaf after the seed leafs, nothing happening for a month then blew up sideways fast and was great smoke. I think it was a world of seeds cut.

haha, topped itself? funny... but yeah I've heard of that mutation... growing out two tops... much like the number of fingers on leaves of a plant being lower or higher than ormal... there's no ino on any causes or impact... but it is not at all something to worry about :).

No worry here. This makes my job this much easier. I've seen leaves with even number leaflets ,13 leaflets, I've seen a plant produced a single leaf instead of new meristem growth. Those plants will "top" themselves as the new leaf acts as initiator by forcing the two auxiliary shoots to become new meristems. But this is different. These nodes are popping up in already developed stems. For me this is quite exciting. This will allow to do less training with the same results or the same training with better results. More growths nodes equals more bud.( Mostly)

i do not understand why other countries would ban something reportedly dangerous
but the USA does not adopt this position because its death food >?

are all the other countries correct and the USA is wrong
do all the other countries care about their people but the USA is actively committing genocide of its own people ?
So it would seem, Canada too, yikes ;(.

Mine at three weeks. Has a bit of light green to it, so I just fed it today. Topped it last week. Those two outcrops have grown out over just this week:
