Seedling to starter

Maybe someone can help, I started a couple of seedlings and I have them in solo cups now they are just getting their second set of leaves now but one is really stretchy and starting to lay over just wanted to know if I should transplant into 1 gallon out and if so should I use putting soil no additives or should I put in fox farm I usual? They have been growing a little over a week now?

I’m also pretty new at this but I wait until 3 or four nodes (stets of leaves) to transplant to 3 gallon pots. That way there’s enough roots to hold the soil together good. Which fox farms soil are you using? You should wait a few weeks after transplant to feed with fox farms ocean forest ( I learned the hard way.)

Sounds to me like your plants are stretching, what kind of lights are you using?

I would also wait another week or so before transplanting

Light is too far away from plant.

As stated above. Bury stem in dirt for support, lower the light and get airflow circulation around the plant to offer some wind resistance

For reference:

Actual 150W at 28" + 6-10mph air circulation = No stretch and strong stems.

Also can you use ph tap water in spray bottle to water them? Was using spring water left over from germinating but ran out.

If you're providing water to the foliage you do so at the expense of root development. But your pH correct tap is fine.
