Seedling stretching like crazy..

.. for no apparent reason. I have a 21w cfl about 2 inches away. It germinated yesterday and right now its 2½ inches tall wtf? The first set of trueleaves are still developing.

I didnt have this problem when i was growing NL#1, could it be genetics? Mazar is supposed to be short

Sometimes it's just the seedling.

They don't really stretch when they are that young because they don't need that much light. Just plant her deep next time you transplant and you will be fine.

Anything under the embryonic leaves I consider tap root.

Yea that would be great, i have read though that cannabis doesnt shoot roots from the stem so burying it extra deep would only limit the space which real roots can grow
