Hey 420rival, you need to do some basic reading on growing, and I'm saying that with full respect for someone just starting out. Flowering is a term that applies to the growth period of the plant following the vegetation stage. The vegetation stage starts formally when the seedling starts growing new sets of leaves. The first set of leaves, the little round cotyledons, usually appear when the seedling first breaks soil (or whatever the grow medium is). If your seedling hadn't even shown cotyledons, it was about 8 weeks away from flowering.
At some point, if you use basic terminology incorrectly, someone will give you advice based on what you WRITE, not knowing what you actually mean. This could mess up your grow when you're much further down the line and have invested a lot of time and money in it. And that would be a shame.
Good luck!
