so what do you guys think? does it look like there is no hope? i can post a picture of what it currently looks like now that i have buried it to the first set of leaves
Yes there is hope Ive recovered way worse looking ladies then that. Just give it a good water and get that light about 3 inches away you want it almost kissing it BUT make sure you have a gentle air movement going on it so that heat don't become a issue. I would have that light sitting on top of the pot. Just move it back as it grows. I have a 4x2 T5 and if I don't have it at least 3inches close to it I get weak, slow growing seedlings. I would get some 26w 6500K CFL'S if you only have one plant and just add more as it gets older.

could i over water it at this point?
You are overthinking everything, We all do it. If you have already gave it a Tablespoon of water down the stem then your good till it starts to droop again. She will perk back up now that you got her roots some water and got her closer to the light. Don't water till you see plant drooping like its about to fall. You will start to notice that she will need water more frequently thats when you start to give more water.

Are there proper drainage holes in the plantpot that you are using? I'm asking this because I don't see any in the picture.

This is what I have been doing and it works. My ladies droop I water them within 1-2 hours they are right back up. With him his issue could be Underwater, over water, weak light. There are so many things that it could be thats why I said one Tablespoon of water that is not much just enough to see if its Under or over water. Giving it that will kill the underwater concern and lowering the light will kill the light issue. If its still drooping by time light comes on again then we know its overwater and to wait and let it dry.

i'm actually not sure of the wattage tbh i know its decent. and i just went ahead and poured a decent amount in the pot i'll go ahead and take a picture one of the leaves wilted pretty bad. looks like it might be salvageable but i'll let you be the judge.
