There is a reason why they have the one for seedlings. I actually use MG seed starter with great results while they are still in their solo cups. I cut it with some perlite.
In any case, FF has a lot of nutes. My guess would be some strains can handle, some less so, while young. And how you water may impact the release of nutes.
