seedling points up with yellow

first off.. I was wondering if my soil is fine to grow with. It's all purpose black gold soil w/ multicote (0.13,0.05,0.10). Yesterday I found out that my seedling was stretching really far up so I added more CFL lights and had them an inch away from the plant.

Plant yesterday:

When I came home today I saw that my seedling's leaves were pointing up and one of the tips were yellow and crispy.

Could this be a heat issue? Cause my fan was always blowing directly on the seedling before this happened.. I decided to change the angle of the fan and it didn't get too much air. What should I do about the stretching? Is the yellow tip okay? :-? I redirected the fan so it blows right on it again.

dude i think your plant is going to be fine. :)

and if the point is yellow and slightly dry, just move the light further away from the tip

could it be my soil? Anyone know if that soil is bad for growing?

im pretty sure soil doesnt cause yellowing but if your worried about it, maybe you should start a different seed with different soil

just move the lights a little further back from it. it looks like it got burnt just a little bit. good thing you saw it or it might have gotten real bad
