One of my little seedlings happened to lose its first set of leaves. Somehow it got tied up in the seed casing. Do you think it will survive.

I will put pictures up but is like a little stem no leaves. It's crazy I have really never have had trouble germanating or getting seedlings going until now. Out of 12 seeds 3 have popped soil. I have 4 maybes still. But out of those 3 one has the chopped head. Wow feeling like a 1st timer all.over again. If them didn't have problems like this.

Seed shell got stuck to the cotyledons?
You should keep the shell wet so the sprout can grow without much pressure and shed the shell. Sometimes it's necessary to give the poor seedling some help.
It usually happens when:
1. The medium is not moist enough
2. The seed is not planted deep enough
3. The soil is not firm enough

It happened but after 2 days of just a stalk I said oh well. And just planted another
