Seedling is bright yellow, for unknown reason.

I've grown these D.P. Auto Blackberry a few times and she generally starts out very dark green. This one however which is six days old now is still bright yellow, almost fluorescent yellow. It looks like a simple lack of nutrient but I'm growing in a dedicated stripped down shallow water culture there is zero possibility that this is a nutrient problem. Nevertheless I did remix the nutrient anyway just in case I did something weird like using one part twice and missing another. Made no difference. I thought maybe the root is somehow damaged and she's not getting any nutrients and is slowly dying. However she is continuing to grow at a normal pace. Still showing no sign of greening up.

I'm now wondering if it's possible that this could be some sort of strange phenotype! Has anyone seen this sort of thing before.

I advise patience. She could just be an odd pheno. I had one like that, different strain but, started out painfully yellow, then grew the darkest buds I've ever seen. This girl was so purple that when I bubble hashed her trim the waste water looked like grape kool-aid. The pics don't do it justice. That's caramelicious, bloody skunk, pineapple express and mimosa. The bloody skunk was the really yellow one.

Bloody Skunk from Sweet Seeds.
Sweet Seedswon't ship direct to the U.S. So I had to find another route. They were all grown under the same lights, so I'm not positive what happened. I am overly cautious with my girls as they are DWC and can go south quick so maybe I stunted her nutritionally. I've got another I've running that isn't near as light as her sister was, I'm going to try to push this one harder on the nutes. the second pic was an inspection nug about 2 weeks before harvest.

@go go kid yeah I was thinking that about the cotyledons too, I can still see the normal Blackberry pinkish pigments bb - 3.jpegin the very early leaves. As long as she keeps growing I guess I may as well persevere. OK I'll update this in a few days and see if anything has altered.

lookin foward to it, i love unusual plants that dont perform as stated or have runts of the litter grow out to see how they do. if a plant germinates, it has a right to live as far as im concerned :weed:
