I have never seen this in my life. One of the 16 critical mass seedlings has three cotyledon leaves. Has anyone seen this? Will it be any different during its life?

It's a rare genetic mutation, I forget the actual name of it, but it's perfectly fine.
seems to me that those seem to veg quicker..
Make sure you get some clones!

I got a Barny Farms LSD thats doing the same thing, its called trifoliar. Ive read they have the potential for bushier growth and higher yeilds due to an extra budsite..we will see. Also read because it is a genetic mutation there is a higher chance of hermie.. lets hope not.

I had one critical mass seeds and it was a triploid as well, it grew three leaves at every node but your appears to be only growing two true leaves so it may not be a triploid

It's called an alternating whorled phytolaxy, apparently. I have a fem'd white widow (from GHS) like that. 3 cotelydon and leaves in 3's. It's very bushy & still in veg.

I had this on 2 plants, a trainwreck and a ganesh spirit. Both feminised. Both at different times. The only difference was a higher yield.

I have seen this on Barney's Farm LSD as well. It also had one of the 2 main tops broken off early in veg, and the 1 side that was left grew into a super mutant hulk looking branch. Lots of super cropping was involved but it was bigger around than a quarter where it met the main stem. It ended up growing 3 leaves per node after that other top broke off. I wondered if it was genetic or not. One other LSD in the room grow 3 leaves on each node but only one one of the 2 main branches. Weird

Edit: Wanted to add that neither of those had 3 cotyledons. Food for thought.
