Seedling feeds

Hi I am using a t5 light and supersprouter. Days at 77 and 65 RH and nights are 73 and 60 RH. The seedling is on 18/6 for light. I am curious on how much to water at this stage?

Did I overwater again? I still see growth land was told to feed till runoff as soon as the 1st serrated leaves come in.

Waiting 3 or 4 days to dryback to feed again. Thanks in advance!

Depends on what you're growing in and what you're feeding it. I would definitely let that dry down a lot before any more water. It's tap root is probably near or at the bottom of that cup by now so don't keep adding water to keep the top wet or you will be overwatering and kill it.

Let that cup start to feel light before watering and if it has nutes already don't feed it for a while as it's barely using any at this stage.

Good luck!

Its coco coir, im feeding it floramicro and florabloom 6 9 old formula. I wasn't planning on watering for another like 3 days.

I started feeding as soon as the first leaves formed, under 200ppms PH'd to 5.8.

I let the dome breathe often to keep my VPD up for a seedling in coco and pull the light off the dome to bring it a cooler at night.

Thanks Oldmed

For seedlings, it's usually best to water sparingly. You want the soil to be moist but not soggy. It's a good practice to let the top inch or so of the soil dry out before watering again. Overwatering can be a common issue, so letting it dry back a bit before the next watering is a good idea

Get that seed pod off that leaf. Spray it with some water and cajole it off with some tweezers.

Just be careful. Don't rip all of the good leaves off just trying to get the pod off. If it won't come off, just leave it alone.

This is Day 5 or 6 from sprout. I try for cooler nights, its in a dome with RH at 65 and temp at 75-77°. I've been venting it frequently when light cuts and when I turn it on for an 18/6 schedule.

Chillax man. Won't hurt a thing if it stays on. You only need to perform surgery if it has the cotyledons stuck together. Tiny blade and steady hands are all that's needed in that scenario.

I take the dome off as soon as the sprouts are up and we have very low RH here in the great white north. Too moist and the dreaded stem rot may show up.

Ok understood, if I take the dome off itll be about 55 56 RH. It looks like its gaining greener color back from tips to the middle. I started quarter strength nutes around 200 300 ppms. I will start leaving both vents open then in a day or two take the dome off. Besides VPD, just want it healthy enough to see consistent growth.

Im at like 280 ppms with a 1/4 strength nutes (ole lucas 6 | 9 jont) the darker green color is startng to come thru. Im not sure if its stalled it looks likes its growing new serrated 2nd set of leaves regardless. I will top it with coco, the draining seems fine after i water it once or twice. Hoping I havent lost veg time at all, this an auto at day 7 since it was planted. Thank you for the feedback
