Seeded flowers finish faster?

So I'm doing a seed run of stuff that normally only takes eight full weeks, but this time around she's pollinated since about week two. It's now the end of week seven, and I'm seeing a little bit of amber on the trichs, calyxes look swollen, orange pistels have retreated for the buds that don't have seeds.

Also I've been only using ph'd water now for about a week and a half, the fan leaves are turning pale yellow, curled up, looks like a normal plant at the end of it's flower cycle...

So, is it normal for a seed run to finish early like this, or should I just be patient and let it go another week. Got a branch drying now for testing, but curious about your experiences.

Once a plant is pollinated it goes into seed production which is the end of it's life cycle. I do think that pollinated plants can finish faster than unpollinated plants. Unpollinated plants will keep growing and eventually many will self pollinate in an effort to produce seeds.

But you should let it go to ensure that the seeds are all mature.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the seeds are ready, even near the bottom... Very dark and hard. I'll probably end up letting it go at least another 4 or 5 days if nothing else anyway... It's just that I've got some other girls ready to come out of the veg tent and they're getting big...

I had a boy that I let grow along side the girls on the same flower schedule. The pollen was ready by about week two of flower, and I just let it grow alongside for another week. Total seed run :)
I just get tense hearing "seed" when you know they'll be going out. Too many people selling or trading seeds from hermies without sharing that information .

Yeah the flowers themselves usually look done much earlier due to the seed production, but let it go to it's normal finish times to make sure all your seeds are fully matured. Not like you're in a hurry, if it's open pollinated it'll be mainly seeds.

So yeah, these seeds are only for myself as is all my stuff...

And also yeah I've cut her down, about four days ahead of a full eight. All the seeds are finished, appears to be a really good run. I would say it's 95% seed, but the flower that is there is about to be made into some nice dry ice keif... I would say the effects are a bit on the speedy side compared to normal, but I'm good with that actually... :)
