Patience is a virtue... Just sink it in 1part h2o2 4 parts water for 24 hours. Then put it into a rapid rooter, kept moist, but not soaked. in a humidity dome under a littlebitta light. If it's not out in 10 days, move on. No need for all this scarring and fucking of the seeds.

Hydrogen peroxide? Is that safe? I dunno, never considered using it. I'd imagine it isn't smart in organics.

it was in the shot glass for 24 hours and then it sunk so i left it there 48 hours usally the tap root starts to pop out then, i put it in the damp paper towl until the tap root gets a bit longer but this time no tap root in water so i desided to put it in the towl after about 3 days nothing. So i tried the sand paper mephod and still nothing then i rembered before when i scrached a seed and took a thin layer of the husk casing and the she popped but this time i guess i was to harsh. Any way starting a new seed now Blue cheese

Popping a seed is the easiest thing i ever done, easily 99.99999% success. If your not achieving these results your seriously doing somthing wrong.

Im ace at any germination method but i choose to soak the seed till it cracks ever so slightly then plant and ignore it till its germinated above soil. I use the same method with rockwool, soil, fleximix rapid rooters and coco.
