It is about mid-week of week 8 now and still no ambers. Maybe 1% and I have to hunt for them on the top buds. They sure have a potent effect from even 3 or 4 days ago.
I thought the older plants would flower quicker but not necessarily so. I continue to wait for more ambers and the buds keep getting heavier.............. But they are killer as is.......

It is mid week of week 11 now and I will chop tonite after 36 hrs of dark. I had issues 4 days ago with 1 plant that had bud rot (buttrot). I think it was a ventilation and air flow thing on the biggest buds.

2 plants were chopped early- 1 was just ready with more ambers. The other had the buttrot. The 4 left show 10 to 15 percent ambers now so I think they are ready. This SLH is a great yielder and has left me with more buds than I know what to do with (maybe).

After 2 grows, I have about enough quantity and quality to last me a year..... (maybe).

More pics to follow after the chop

I am "psyching up" to do another grow with a train wreck strain (another sativa dominant). This time all will be done under quantum boards with samsung leds and meanwell drivers. At about 40 watts per sq. ft. of led lights...........

To start- new sprouts will begin under 2 bloomspect ss1000 quantum boards (100w per board). Again, the seeds will be placed in water for 24 to 48 hours to germinate. when the white tails show, they will be placed in small, clay pots with organics roots potting soil (tails down). I will start with a PAR (ppfd) level of about 200 and increase it to about 400 as the seedlings establish and advance to the veg. stage. these seedlings will be in little greenhouses on heat mats to keep the temp at about 75 degrees F.

I still have enough smoke from the last 2 grows to last at least another 6 months. If I do as well as I did before, I should have over a pound of bud yield after this one grow which should last me until the next cycle. that is the plan and we shall see how it goes.

I will pay more attention to air flow and how it affects RH this time during the late bud stage. I bought a dehumidifier for this purpose. I will employ it during flowering and increase air flow via fans this time because of bud rot issues before- (during late flower.)

and may the cannabis gods have mercy on my mortal soul again - and give me the grace to do this next run.................. yo. It got a bit dicey at harvest (bud rot) on that last run
