I put them in amber glass jars with the orange silica gel desiccants beads. Seeds need to be protected from light, temps and moisture. Store them in the frig. I've read where some will use a few rice grains rather than the silica gel desiccants.Put them in aluminum zips, inside an amber glass jar and keep them in the back of a fridge and they'll be fine for years. The point is to keep them from temperature/humidity shocks.
Rice can be risky, because of the pests, insects and other contaminants. I don't use Silica gel either. High quality seeds have enough water in their cells which keeps them fresh and viable. Silica gel, if used excessively, can dry them out completely in no time which can affect viability.I put them in amber glass jars with the orange silica gel desiccants beads. Exactly what I needed... Thank you!Rice can be risky, because of the pests, insects and other contaminants. I don't use Silica gel either.
